the “concrete fish” is a slalom longboard with a specific design which is based on a fish shaped surfboard. it is made out of seven finish birch plywood layers. the whole three dimensional shape of the board was first generated in an 3d modeling program to test the material performance and the shape flexibility before the form for the vacuum moulding was shaped by a CNC mill.
